PCDL Library

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the interactive library at interactive.pcdl.co (“the library”), however you open it, including inside another app such as KingsChat. By using the library you agree to them.

How these terms fit with PCDL’s

The library is part of the Pastor Chris Digital Library (“PCDL”). Your PCDL account, and anything about it these terms do not cover, is governed by the PCDL Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the law that applies and where disputes are heard. If the two conflict about your account, the PCDL terms apply. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The library

The library publishes SCRIPTEX (interactive editions of messages by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome) and the monthly PCDL e-magazines. Every title is free to read, with or without an account. Signing in adds reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes and stars. Nothing is sold in the library, and no purchase is ever needed to read.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create a PCDL account.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You can delete your library data or your whole account at any time on the Delete account page.

Our content

The publications, including their text, artwork, images, quizzes and puzzles, belong to PCDL or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may read them for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share quotes through the library’s own share features, which credit the source.

Apart from that, and from what the law allows, don’t copy, republish, sell, redistribute, scrape or adapt the content without PCDL’s written permission.

Your notes and highlights

Your highlights and notes belong to you. They are private: they are not shown to other readers or published anywhere. You allow PCDL to store them only so it can show them back to you. Don’t use them to store anything unlawful.

Using the library properly

  • Don’t try to break, overload or get around the library’s security.
  • Don’t use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access or copy the library.
  • Don’t sign in as someone else, or misuse another person’s account or sign-in.
  • Don’t use the library in any way that breaks the law.

We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using the library whenever you like.

The library links to other services, such as pcdl.co, KingsChat and X. They have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the library available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove titles and features.

As far as the law allows, PCDL is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the library. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, or any rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using the library after a change, the new terms apply.
